KOM Software will demonstrate File Replication, Fixed Content Archiving on Hard Disk (e-WORM) and the latest in 'data shredding' that enable hospitals, radiology groups and imaging centers to archive and instantly retrieve data-intensive digital images while meeting regulatory requirements such as the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA).
File Replication: KOMworx File Replication enables customers to sustain multiple copies of their files on competing storage technologies increasing availability, protecting against data loss and significantly improving recovery from a disaster or system outage. KOMworx provides two levels of automated file replication, which at the hard disk level will replicate files to replica storage resources that may of the same type and from the same vendor or could be a completely different product altogether.
Data Shredding: KOMworx data 'shredding' capability has been designed and developed to help organizations meet the stringent demands of file retention requirements along with the ability to shred expired files that require physical disposal. e-WORM: KOM Software developed the e-WORM solution based on a patented technology, which transparently archives files to High Performance RAID arrays and other hard disks for long-term data retention.
