KOM Software announces support for the KODAK 2000 (ADL) Jukebox Series with 14.8GB

Ottawa, ON Canada – September 27, 1994

KOM Software is pleased to announce that we are shipping the latest version of OptiServer®, which supports all models of the Kodak 2000 (ADL) series of jukeboxes equipped with the new 14.8 GB drives. These drives use the highest capacity WORM media, with 14" form factor. The capacity of the jukeboxes ranges from 15 to 134 disks with 222 GB of storage and up to almost 2 Terabytes.

OptiServer is available for immediate delivery for the following system platforms:

Digital VMS and ALPHA VMS
ULTRIX
SunOS
Solaris-486
Solaris-2.X
H.P. U.X.

Within 60 days KOM will also release the Windows/NT version of OptiServer and OSF/1-AXP.
