KOMpliance & OnBase FAQs
How Does KOMpliance Address Privacy and Regulatory Compliance?
KOMpliance advanced security policies can prevent access to sensitive documents outside the context of OnBase. This means that privileged users and network administrators as well as malware cannot access or enumerate the contents of the KOMpliance secure volumes.
KOMpliance policies can also be used to prevent and prohibit any modifications to the file and folder permissions of the OnBase data stored on the OnBase diskgroups.
With the OnBase Integration for KOMpliance module installed, all OnBase documents and records are secured with a Seal of authenticity indicating that they were created by OnBase and can be only purged by OnBase. No external process, power user, or malware can manipulate, modify, or destroy an OnBase document secured on KOMpliance.
Regardless of the regulations or mandates that need to be complied with, whether they are legislated, industry-specific, or corporate guidelines, KOMpliance can play an active role in addressing those requirements across all verticals and market segments.
