KOMpliance & OnBase FAQs

Can KOMpliance protect non-OnBase files?

Yes! The standard features of KOMpliance and the native file system support provides the ideal repository for other files and documents that may need to be safeguarded and protected. The policy engine within KOMpliance offers a great deal of flexibility for securing logs and audit files that are generated as a byproduct of other system components such as network switches and database transactions. In many cases these audit files have to be preserved and retained for extended periods to satisfy stringent regulatory compliance requirements.

KOMpliance protection policies can be configured to protect files from being moved, copied, renamed, deleted, having their contents or time stamps altered, etc., by anyone, regardless of their role or permissions.
