"We are very excited about the partnership with KOM Networks and look forward to a mutually successful and prosperous relationship," said Arsenio Batoy, President of Optical Laser. "Today, we see across the board demand within our IT infrastructure VARs and document imaging integrators for competitively-priced, capacity-flexible, hard-disk based storage management solutions that meet regulatory compliance requirements. There's plenty of excitement in the channel when they hear that the eWORM feature in KOMworx Governance can allow their user's existing disk-based IT assets as well as new proposed systems meet regulatory compliance requirements for storage. For tomorrow, we like what we see in the KOM Networks product roadmap and know that our resellers will be equally excited about new technologies in the pipe," he added.

For the benefit of the channel, Batoy emphasized the importance of the link between value provided by the channel and opportunity resident in their user community. "KOM Networks' long-standing reputation as the leading provider of Compliance, Archiving and ILM solutions in storage management allows our value added resellers and system integrators to offer innovative and technologically advanced solutions to their client base," said Batoy. In addition to Compliance, KOMworx suite of products offers e-WORM++ (which combines optical media WORM permanence with high performance disk storage), ILM, NAS aggregation and dynamic capacity management.
