"It's an exciting opportunity for me to bring my skills and experience to this highly competitive area."
Storage Virtualization is a new method of storage management that dramatically cuts costs and time for storage administration in companies and institutions. KOM Networks' storage virtualization technology is unique among vendor neutral, virtualization software products currently available because its virtualization technology operates at the file-level instead of the block-level, allowing enterprises to manage information across their entire storage network.
KOM Networks' latest virtualization product suite is called StealthWorx™. The initial product is Virtual StorageWorx™, which can store and manage virtual volumes of up to 500 petabytes of information, giving organizations complete control over their data environments. Its policy driven file lifecycle management allows administrators to assign routine data management procedures that automate the storage process.
Furthermore, Virtual StorageWorx™ enables a storage infrastructure to dynamically expand and shrink while maintaining continued access to data.
