The automated lifecycle management allows the administrator to dynamically enforce and coupe with corporate and regulatory mandates with minimal interaction and no disruption.

KOMworx pools together various storage devices and technologies into a common dynamic storage repository that presents users and applications with a single, enormous virtual volume namespace. Administrators can conveniently use wizard-generated policies under scheduler control to provide appropriate storage infrastructure file lifecycle management, including regulatory compliant archiving (e.g., SEC, Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA) in the background, invisibly and impact-free.

With KOMworx, applications and users are shielded from actual file location changes eliminating the need for any re-indexing, recoding or operational changes. In addition KOMworx enables the consolidation of any pre-authored or stamped CD / DVD media into a common repository for simple and easy single point of access to archived and various distributed information.
